Played a few new-to-me games recently:
Magic Labyrinth: Kids invisible labyrinth game made possible through the magic of magnets. Pretty cool, and works well with the kids.
Earth Reborn: Complex, richly thematic tactical miniatures games with zombies & robots. Played one of the intro scenarios, and looking forward to trying with most/all of the rules.
Lord of the Rings Card Game: This is the new cooperative 2-player game and it's very CCG like, but very promising appealing after one play.
Also played a bunch of haven't-played-in-years games reently:
Wits & Wagers: Still fun, good group game, not sure why it's been 3 years since I played.
Mission Red Planet: Area influence games are still not my favorite, but somehow the chaos of a Bruno game makes it more palatable, and I like the role selection aspect of this game a bunch. It may not become a regular, but 4+ years was too long without a play.
Shadows over Camelot: This had so much buzz when it came out it got a bit overplayed. It's not great, especially given the number of cooperative games out there now, but the backlash was more severe than it deserved. It's not great, but it's better than I remembered it. 5+ years was maybe too long for it to sit on the shelf.
Imaginiff: Silly party game, with not a lot of game to it, but a good late evening game. Whiteboard marker is hard to clean off after 4 years.
Tante Tarantel: Really good game/play, but with simply not enough scoring opportunities. Maybe we should just play with more bugs per player than are recommended. 5 years is definitely too long, and I should try this with the kids.
Fiji: Intensely chaotic/random, but fun and quick, even if random play might be a viable strategy. Hadn't been played in 3 years, mostly because it's not broadly liked, but was well received enough on this play.
In the future, posts like this (random commentary on board games) will be mostly shared with my board games Circle, since it may be of questionable interest to non-gamers. If I know you through board gaming, you're probably in it. I will assume anyone who +1's this post wants to be in that circle, or leave a comment or whatever.

Lord of the Rings Card Game: Feels similar to Death Angel the Card Game. There's more chaos in this game however, because the bad guys show up after you decide what your tasks are going to be. I don't like that at all. However, I think with more expansions the deck building aspect will take over and that should be fun. I'll probably get it.
Imaginiff: I think this, more than most other party games, really needs people to know the players. With half of the players being total strangers I just felt I was randomly picking options. Of course, I came in last. With people you know tho', I think this would be a really fun party game.
Tante Tarantel: I got eliminated in like 3 seconds, as you know. It's definitely not as good a game as Idel Argern <sic?>. Actually this is pretty much almost the same game as Fearsome Floors. A game I traded away. Eh...
Fiji: I don't understand why Fiji is so criticized in BGG. It's chaotic yes, but really it's a game about playing odds on what you think your opponent is going to play. Very much like Caribbean in a way, and that game doesn't get bashed nearly as much. I think this might be better than Caribbean (and I like them both). Now that I think about it - I wonder if I could trade for it for cheap since it is so hated.
