Munich in 2000, and a G+ photo posting tip/workaround.
I've figured out a decent way to share old photos in Google+. I've uploaded large numbers of old photos into Picasaweb into a small number of albums. Unfortunately, I hadn't found an easy way to share a few photos from an Album to G+ easily. Trying to share to G+ from the Gallery app on mobile doesn't work, for example.
But, I found a workaround. I can then browse them in Gallery on the Xoom (or on my phone) and then "Share" to Picasa in the "Instant Uploads" album. When I go to share again, the selection of "Instant Uploads" is sticky, so it's a lightweight interaction. Then, those photos are trivially sharable to G+. It's one more step than I'd like, but it works.

Matthew, I really do not understand what you are saying. This may not be the place to explain to your old man. I believe my posts to Google+ are fully visible as albums on Picasaweb.
