It's nice living in the future.
I saw these interesting flowers in a garden and was curious what they might be, so I figured I would post and ask. But, first, I tried dragging the photo into Image Search, and looked through the similar images. Most of them were vaguely similar plants with red flowers, but not the same.
But, a couple results depicted the same kind of flower and clicking onto the results, and found mentions of "chinese lantern flowers", which I then searched for and found it's almost certainly Physalis alkekengi.
So, instead of saying "Anyone know what this is?" I can instead say "Isn't this Physalis alkekengi cool looking?"

+Ryan Levering, I'm hoping we'll get the "Cognitive Surplus" that Clay Shirky talks about, and get more Wikipedias and Linuxes. But I suspect while we'll get a bunch of that, we'll also get a lot of free time to play silly games on our smartphones. Turns out that can be really time consuming. :)
