Product recommendation: Anker external battery

If you use gadgets like phones and tablets heavily, especially when traveling, I cannot recommend one of these enough.
I get a solid day of battery out of my phone even under fairly heavy use. But, sometimes under very heavy use, and especially when traveling* (often because I'm using GPS a lot more), it gets close or dies before the end of the day. With the Anker (which can charge most Android devices at 3 amps, ie, very very fast), I can fully recharge my phone essentially 3 times before the Anker is drained, which means never having to worry whether the GPS will die before we make it to the hotel late at night, or never feeling like I have to ration usage to preserve it for other purposes "just in case".
The link is to the particular model I have, which I believe is no longer available, but I know several folks who have bought more recent model Anker's and they've all been very happy with them.
In addition, the external battery is really convenient to be able to charge other people's phones, tablets and other gadgets as opposed to just having a phone with a greater battery capacity.
*So, I originally bought the Anker "for vacation/traveling" and "for Ingress", where I felt a certain amount of guilt about buying an extra battery for the latter purpose. In practice, while I have used it for Ingress, it gets far more usage and earns it's status as an enthusiastic unsolicited endorsement based on the non-gaming usage.

But yes, mainly recommending the product category, but also that I'm very satisfied with this particular brand.
What I really want is a good retractable USB-micro cable. ZipLinq discontinued theirs and the rest are crappy by comparison (short, flaky, fragile).
- The physical "build quality" is very good
- The 3A charging is crazy fast
- The battery retains it's charge for weeks when not in use
- The indicator lights are clear, simple and useful
- It has two ports so I change charge two devices at a time
